Thanks to the London Small Business Centre and the Start-Up Ready Grant program promoted by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, We\come CIC was granted £4900 to develop the following projects:
1) Web Platform for Schools
This would be a working platform where schools’ students, families, and members of staff will be able to access online activities, e.g. questionnaires, in a confidential and systematic way. The activities will automatically produce a report based on the feedback received, which will be discussed in a meeting between school, family and a professional from We\come CIC.
The web platform would require the following to be able to function:
- front end login page and access for the school;
- design of web structure and pages;
- back end for data analysis, creating questionnaires and exportin reports;
- security and confidentiality of data shared.
2) Welcome Catalogue 2018-19
In September, thanks to the voluntary work of the web designer Luca Saggin, a first version of a Welcome catalogue was designed and printed in 25 trial copies; such work helped the schools to better understand the proposal and to keep a paper document to be shared with the members of staff.
The catalogue would now need to be reviewed and updated to the current framework, identifying the areas of involvement (Child Voice, Prevention, Social inclusion, Diversity) and sharing information describing the work methodology.
3) Welcome Video
A short video (30 seconds) that would attempt to represent the philosophy behind the entire company, providing an artistic representation of the mission and the areas of intervention identified by We\come CIC.
In line with the company concept, the video would be an animated representation of abstract concepts such as Child Voice, Prevention, Social Inclusion and Diversity, simply using animated shapes, colours and music.
